But Jesus looked at them and said,

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Brandin & Tanika's Wedding September 2019

Brandin is my oldest son. This is Brandin and Tanika's first child, they are having a baby girl. Ariyah is due in June 2020.

From the beginning of Tanika's pregnancy, she has battled nausea and somewhat of a high-risk pregnancy. Unfortunately, she was placed on home rest very early on and remains.

Then...... COVID-2019.... reared its ugly head.

Tanika was already limited to home, now she had to be extra cautious. After Tanika's second trimester, Brandin, was in the planning stages of her shower. He was devastated to say, at the least when we all knew that it would not be possible for Tanika to have a "traditional" baby shower.

Brandin being the "outside of the box" thinker, was not going to allow his wife to go without. He decided that he would find a way to celebrate the birth of their child and give his wife the celebration she deserved.

The plan changed. Several weeks prior to the shower, Brandin sent out an invitation via social media and private messages, asking friends and family not to reveal the surprise. His idea was a "driveby shower".

Everyone would simply ride by, say hello from the 6-foot safe distance zone, and drop off a gift if they would like to.

Please enjoy some of the moments captured during this "unconventional" baby shower and know that COVID-19 CANNOT and WILL NOT stop us

I am overjoyed to have such a loving son, wonderful daughter (in-law), and I am over the moon excited to meet my next granddaughter, Ariyah, coming June 2020!
