Are you a MOON believer?
Many things around us and within us can come from moon phases.
September 17, 2020, was the new Moon!
I'm not pushing astrology on anyone, don't get me wrong.
I'm a true Christian; however, that being said, I'm very spiritual and believe in energy. Especially from our surroundings, other people, and the Moon!
Nurses and doctors amp up the staff of full moons.
The root of this word is Luna itself, which means the Moon. That's because lunatic originally meant someone who went crazy with every phase of the Moon, like a wild animal resembling a werewolf. A good majority of people do believe the Moon causes insanity, better known as "lunatics".
There is clinical and medical research on the moon phases and how it affects you, your body, anxiety, and depression.
I can tell you that my "breakdown" was during the Waning Gibbous, the day after the full Moon.
Facts
Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.
The Moon's gravity pulls at the Earth, causing predictable rises and sea levels known as tides. To a much smaller extent, tides also occur in lakes, the atmosphere, and Earth's crust.
The Moon's gravitational pull generates something called the tidal force. The tidal energy causes Earth—and its water—to bulge out on the side closest to the Moon and the side farthest from the Moon. These bulges of water are high tides. ... High tides and low tides are caused by the Moon.
There are 8 main phases of the moon: new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter, and waning crescent.

Science and Spirituality
There is a science to the Moon based on the phases, and then there is spirituality.
Biologically women seem to have a connection to the Moon. Coincidentally, there are parallels, how our menstrual cycles mirror the "lunar" cycle, both being 28-day cycles. PMS?
The Main Moon Phases & Emotions

Thoughts
If we are composed of 60% water, why would the Moon not affect us?
Suggestions
Keep a journal of how you feel daily
Write down the moon phase
See if you develop a cycle related to that
Get to know how to cope better (because it can make you feel crazy), speaking from experience
How The Moon Affects Me
How I feel during the new Moon: typically happy, a little restless
How I feel during a waning moon cycle period: emotional, life is falling apart, nothing is going right. Unloved.
I feel during the Full Moon: Energetic, Manic; sometimes, Heightened senses to smell, high pitch sounds, and vibrations. More aware of my surroundings and the present.
How I feel during the waxing moon cycle period: Off, just off, almost as bad as I do during the waning cycle, a little more numb. Virtually as though all of the processes have caught up with me.
In Conclusion
I have to be very careful not to pay attention to the Moon because it is so telling to me as to my emotions and moods. It makes me questions my mental state. People's attitudes and thoughts overwhelm me.
Blessing or a curse?
I am very interested in others and their experiences with each moon phase; comment on the blog or email colorfulchaosthejourney@yahoo.com

Interesting post and facts. Had never thought about how the moon can affect you so much, in that it is linked to how much it affects water, and the amount of water we are made up of.
Thank you for reading. The moon is so interesting and there are a lot of non believers but the facts are there.
